​​​​Artist Statement:  My "Sitting Plenty" Series embodies self-love, body-positivity, and anti-bullying.

 

I remember very vividly being bullied in middle school because my body wasn't fully developed like the other girls. Being treated as an outcast made me feel insecure and humbled to the point of not knowing how to receive or believe a compliment. It took me years to become comfortable and confident in my own skin.

I hope my art helps save someone else those years.
