This is a study piece of my "Broken Babes" Series featured in Art Basel Miami 2023. 
 
Artist Statement: Women are always being stripped down and broken, but society still expects us to be strong on the outside. We dress ourselves up in hair, makeup, clothes, jewelry, etc. to cover up what we are dealing with. I want women to know it’s okay to be vulnerable and transparent. It’s okay to cry sometimes and to not have it all together. It’s okay because "the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed." -Psalms 34:18
